Hart & Lloyd provides forensic accounting services in Australian family law proceedings outside NSW.

Services are provided across three categories consistent with APES 215 Forensic Accounting Services.

Consulting services

Consulting services involve providing advice to legal practitioners in matters involving complex financial records or unclear financial positions. This commonly includes reviewing financial disclosure, identifying issues requiring further investigation and assisting in defining the appropriate scope of financial work.

Investigation services

Investigation services involve examination and analysis of financial records and transactions to identify relevant financial patterns and establish the financial facts in dispute.

Expert witness services

Expert witness services involve preparation of expert reports and provision of oral evidence in family law proceedings. Where engaged as an expert, the duty is to the Court.

Expert reports are prepared in accordance with APES 215 Forensic Accounting Services and the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Family Law) Rules 2021, Part 7.1.
